Laying in your arms
The cold shut out
Feeling safe
And loved
Laying in your arms
Listening to your breathing
It brings peace
And harmony
Laying in your arms
All is forgotten
Harm is far away
Heaven is here
Laying in your arms
The world around silent
All that is important
Is you
Parents are leaving "I love you" they say
Wave good-bye and they're on their way
Finally you're alone, door locked shut
Deeper and deeper the blade seems to cut
Why do you do this, why can't you let go?
You can't stop now, that's all you know
You grab the towel; hold it to your wrist
Your arms so weak, you can barely make a fist
Bandage your cuts, they still seem to hurt
Hurry to your room, slip into a long sleeved shirt
Clean up the blood, wash the blade
Throw the towel away, the pain seems to fade
Parents are back, put on your fake smile
You pretend everything's okay, and talk for a while
Inside you're screaming but they can't
On a windswept, dim lit and lonely lane
She lies and writhes alone in pain.
She drops a tear, and forms a well.
Then lifts an ear to her death knell.
A silent sigh, a death too soon,
Her rotting corpse lying under the moon,
And I one eve did find her there,
My lifeless love, drenched in despair.
The stench of doom hung upon that night,
No glowing stars to offer their light.
I knelt down slow, to kiss poisoned lips,
And so ends here my ill-fated trip.
